We know it can be super-frustrating when products you love are out of stock. The main reason for running out of products is the sheer number of moving parts in our supply chain: our insistence on working only with the very best labs means we’re sourcing from more than twenty different countries, and as well as delays in things like packaging, production runs and logistics, the raw materials we work with can be affected by harvesting and climate issues, too.
We try and always keep reserves of of ‘safety stock’ for when things like this happen, but sometimes if the delays are significant, even those ‘emergency supplies’ can run out, and that’s when things go out of stock for a while. When that happens, we’ll always try our best to let you know how long the wait might be, and suggest any suitable alternatives, too.
